So Good!: Chocolate Chip Cookies

You're welcome. :)

1 cup unsalted butter softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
**2 tsp Grand Ma (or bourbon) a little more to taste if you like**
2 1/2 cups flour for chewy cookies (less flour for crunchy cookies)
1-2tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1tsp baking soda dissolved in 2 tsp hot water
1/2 tsp salt (use sea salt for a more pronounced taste)
2 cups chocolate chips (white, milk, semi sweet - whatever you like. I went with milk chocolate this time.)
1 cup walnuts ground up to crumbs (I used the blender)

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
  3. Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
Makes 4 dozen.

Yummy!

PS: The plate, mint green coffee mug AND the dinning room table were thrifted. SNAP!
